Our facial wash has been designed after some of the cleanser used in hospitals, that cleanse with out foaming and is wiped off without irritation to the skin. The American Medical Association and Dermatologist state that soap and water will serve the same purpose as cleansing creams and lotions, is less expensive, and offers less risk of allergy. However, soap can be more drying to the skin. For this reason, BioKorium developed this Lipid-Free Formulation, which gently cleanses to remove oils and debris without the drying properties of other soaps and facial cleansers. In addition, for those undergoing laser or chemical peeling, you will find this wash ideal for lightly cleansing tender skin of exfoliating skin debris in the post-op healing stages. Its non-drying character makes this an added benefit for those with acne type skin, leaving skin clean and moisturized. Because of its silky texture and gliding character, some of my friends have been using it to shave with great results. • BioKorium Microdermabrasion Cream Products - We us a copper extract derived from the Malachite gem. As the exfolliating process is occuring, copper is infused to replenish copper dependent enzyme which are responsible for rebuilding new layers of skin. Copper is also involved with collagen and elastin production. Such products as glycolic acid, will have increased effects when applied after the exfoliating process. A much lower concentration of glycolic can be use since it does not have to break through the top lipid barrier of the skin. Nourishing antioxidant products can have the same effect in providing increase levels of nutrient based antioxidants. This, of course, is also dependent on the concentration of antioxidants in the product.
